With Summer Break right around the corner (only 6 weeks away!) we're gearing up for a fun-filled CSK Summer. This year we are getting eleven weeks of summer break so kids have PLENTY of summertime to enjoy. We are offering eight weeks of summer camps at value pricing and three weeks of specialty camps (for prices please refer to our Summer Camp page.)
This summer we are also offering half day options! For Magic Camp and August Fun Days families will have the options of enrolling in the mornings, afternoons, or both. Our summer hours will be from 8:30-5:30 with early drop-off and late pick-up options available (2 kids or more.) Since our specialty camps were such a hit last year we're making sure to include the top 3 this summer. These camps are Outdoor Adventures Camp, Critters Camp, and Magic Camp. All camps are for rising 1st-6th graders, with the exception of Outdoor Adventures Camp which is for rising 3rd-6th graders.
Outdoor Adventures Camp will have kids enjoying a different outdoor adventure everyday. Former Ira B. Jones P.E. coach, Ken Walker, will make sure to lead a fantastic week of summertime filled with trips to different outdoor venues. Each day will feature a trip to play in the woods & water: Sliding Rock, Montreat, Davidson River, Carolina Hemlocks, Wetlands Water Park and more!
Critters Camp includes working animals, exotic animals, domestic animals and farm animals. Led by Charlotte Street Kid's own Jamie McNabb, kids will have a blast going on field trips to animal rescue centers, farms, nature centers, and even the Greenville Zoo! This is a week for kids to not only interact with animals but also explore their own animal natures through art and play.
Magic Camp will be a week for kids to learn the seven principles of Magic. This camp is taught by “Wendal Wandell” (local magician, TJ Shimeld.) Kids will learn classic magic tricks from a professional magician! The week will culminate in a magic show for the families of campers.
For our value priced camps we will have fun, laid-back programming, such as weekly visits to a pool; movie and game-room fun at Asheville Pizza; fort-building; Hickory Nut Gap visits to pick berries and visit farm animals; arts and crafts such as tie-dying t-shirts; creek-play and field trips to local parks. Activities will vary week-to-week, but every day will be lots of fun with friends.

We hope to see you this summer!
